Real Estate, the Way a Local Would Do It
Buying or selling in Granbury isn't like buying or selling in the suburbs. Waterfront that has to be priced by the foot, gated communities with their own rules, historic-square charm, ranchland on the edge of town — it pays to work with someone who knows which is which.

A Lake Town With a Real Downtown
Granbury built its reputation twice: once in 1890 when the limestone courthouse went up on the square, and again in 1969 when the De Cordova Bend Dam turned a stretch of the Brazos River into Lake Granbury — 103 miles of shoreline winding through the middle of Hood County.
Today it's one of the few places within reach of Fort Worth where you can keep a boat behind the house, walk a genuinely historic town square on Saturday night, and still get to a DFW office when you have to. That combination keeps demand steady — from retirees, remote workers, weekenders, and families alike.
We interviewed three agents to sell our lake house. This was the only one who talked about water depth at the dock and what that meant for our price. Sold in nine days.
Moving from Fort Worth, we didn't know Pecan Plantation from Oak Trail Shores. One afternoon of straight talk about each community saved us from a very expensive mistake.

Negotiation, inspections, docks and POA paperwork, title — handled and explained in plain English, all the way to the closing table.
Communities
Know the Difference Before You Buy
